Grant W. Patten is a second-generation debt relief and bankruptcy attorney in North Carolina. He is a native of Fayetteville, where he attended Douglas Byrd High School and played football for Coach Bob Paroli. Before opening his own practice in NC, Grant worked in the Miami-based bankruptcy practice of a large, international law firm. While there, he represented debtors and creditors in several of the largest bankruptcies in US history. Unfulfilled representing hedgefunds and banks, Grant returned home to North Carolina to focus his practice on individuals and small businesses in need of legal help. While his practice centers on debt relief, he also practices corporate law and appellate litigation. |
He received his J.D from Harvard Law School where he was an editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Technology and a competitor on Harvard's admiralty moot court team. Prior to law school, Grant was a Principal Consultant with Lucent Technologies where he worked throughout Europe and Latin American helping clients in the telecommunications industry leverage the latest technologies. He is both a Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert (CCIE) and a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE). He holds a B.S. in Accounting from Fayetteville State University and is conversational in Spanish. |
